Meet the Team

Adrian Hitchenor is one of the UK's most respected headhunters. Adrian recently sold his previous business ECHM Group to Imprint Plc in 2004 and now joins forces with John Wakeford and David Tunna in this new venture with ambitious growth plans for the future.

John was an accountant and corporate treasurer with ICI before joining Courtaulds Textiles. John was then retail financial controller at Kingfisher before moving into recruitment with Michael Page and latterly as a Headhunter with Whitehead Mann. Specialises in Executive Finance and HR appointments with a strong emphasis on venture capital, retail and financial services sector.

After three years at Parker Bridge in London and Australia David then joined the ECHM Group and latterly Imprint Plc. He specialises in executive recruitment in a diverse range of industry sectors including financial services, retail, utilities, IT and telecoms.

(Managing Director - Hitchenor Wakeford Selection) Spencer has 13 years' experience in executive recruitment and previously worked for a Barkers Norman Broadbent subsidiary, spearheading growth across three divisions. Prior to this he spent five years as executive recruitment director for the Caudwell Group. Spencer has worked across multiple vertical markets, operating up to Board level.

Paul was Bowater's youngest MD before becoming group finance director for Barr & Wallace Trust Plc, Paul then joined a leading law firm as a corporate financier. Paul's business relationship with Hitchenor and Wakeford goes back over a decade.

Lise Jenkins has over 20 years business experience specialising in human resources across the following sectors - utilities, retail, healthcare, textiles and food and packaging manufacturing. She has held a number of senior posts as HR Director in a range of FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies, including United Utilities, SSL International and Coats Viyella; as well as a front line operational role as Distribution Director leading a change programme for a commercial business. She provides specialist HR and business input to the Hitchenor Wakeford Group and runs her own business offering executive coaching, change management and HR consultancy.
